The anime may suck in everything but he is awesome. Well, actually I didn't like him so much before, it was like "meh, awesome design and moves but rarely talks..." until I saw this ->

Well this aired in today's episode and despite it was a bit disappointing in an overall view, it was funny to see Astamon doing these kind of expressions no matter how much out of character it was
That was what made him like him more. Can't wait to see more of him no matter how little it will might be!
